CoinMeta data: A vulnerability worth $6 million occurred in an undisclosed Base vault, exposing a gap in the vulnerability report. The security responsible person of Immunefi, Gon ç alo Magalh ã es, stated that at the time of the incident, there were approximately $31.7 million remaining in vault. The attacker utilized a multi-signature wallet to add malicious contracts to the lending whitelist of vault, and then withdrew 1,783 abaswsteth, which were exchanged for about 1,783 wsteth through AAVE V3. Magalh ã es pointed out that while restricting access to approved addresses seemed to provide protection, in reality, any approved address could withdraw assets without providing collateral, which actually turned into a major vulnerability.
