Blast Network Shutdown, Coinbase to Pause BLAST Transactions on October 20th

According to CoinMeta, the Blast network announced its closure due to operating costs exceeding revenues and began liquidation on October 2. Coinbase will suspend BLAST trading on October 20; users must withdraw their assets by October 26, after which they will need to use the Blast bridge contract on Ethereum for further transactions. Platforms such as BTSE, Bitvavo, and Bybit have also announced the removal or suspension of Blast. The Blast token has fallen by approximately 99% from its peak, currently trading at around $0.00024. The value of Blast TVL has decreased from a peak of $2 billion on June 20, 2024, to around $24 million to $32 million.
