According to CoinMeta, the founder of OKX and also CEO Star stated at the event in Singapore that the impact of AI on the financial industry is not only felt on the user side but is also extending to back-office operations such as compliance and risk management. AI has been utilized to assist in identifying risks, support investigations into suspicious transactions and behaviors, and provide recommendations, thereby enhancing processing efficiency and consistency in implementation. Currently, AI does not make direct decisions regarding compliance or risk management; these final decisions are still made by humans. At the event, OKX, a member of the board of directors and former governor of New York State, also added that clear regulatory rules are an important foundation for fintech companies to expand their services. To reach a broader range of users, companies must comply with regulatory requirements and build public trust through compliant operations.
