According to CoinMeta, Gate officially launched Gate Money on October 7th during a keynote speech at Token2049. The aim is to integrate the management and payment services for various assets such as digital assets, fiat currencies, stocks, ETF, and gold. Relying on the diversified financial services capabilities already established by Gate, users can experience this service by updating their Gate App to version v8.39.0. Gate Money allows users to manage multiple fiat currencies and digital assets under the same account, providing functions such as top-ups, withdrawals, and transfers. Additionally, eligible users can obtain a bank account with the same name. This service also supports using different types of assets in the account for daily consumption and can be linked to digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. The launch of Gate Money will further connect asset management with daily payment scenarios, promoting the extension of financial services provided by Gate to more capital and consumer needs.
