According to CoinMeta, SecondFi has announced that it will compensate $8 for each irrecoverable NFT lost in the $21 million hacker attack. The platform has launched a recovery portal where victims can verify their affected wallets and submit claims. SecondFi stated that the recovery of victims' assets will be assessed based on the snapshot of the Cardano wallet from June 2026, and the final amount may vary. For the NFT that cannot be returned, SecondFi will provide a fixed amount of 30 ADA, which is approximately $7.60. Victims need to use a newly created Cardano wallet as the receiving address for the recovered funds. The launch of this recovery portal has experienced several delays, with an initial launch date set for August.
