According to CoinMeta, the AI infrastructure company supported by nvidia, Firmus, is facing strong demand ahead of its large-scale launch in Australia. The company plans to allocate approximately half of the maximum issuance amount of 5.5 billion Australian dollars to selected existing investors. Reuters reports that the current supporters of Firmus include nvidia, Coatue, Blackstone, and Jane Street. Interest from investors has exceeded the number of available shares, and banks are expected to close the institutional subscription early on Thursday. Firmus will be issued at a price of 11 Australian dollars per share, with a valuation of about 30.6 billion Australian dollars, which is nearly three times the 10.5 billion Australian dollar valuation at its financing two months ago. If completed as planned, this issuance will become the second-largest for an Australian-listed company, only behind the Telstra issuance in 1997. Firmus develops large-scale AI data centers in the Asia-Pacific region and currently operates facilities in Melbourne and Singapore, with clients including nvidia, Meta, and OpenAI. The company is expected to begin trading on the Australian Securities Exchange on October 23.
