CoinMeta data: According to CoinGecko, in the third quarter of 2026, Ethereum outperformed Bitcoin. ETH rose by about 70% during that quarter, while Bitcoin increased by 42%. At the same time, the order book depth of Ethereum near the market price dropped to 35% to 45% of that of Bitcoin, which is a decrease from at least 60% a year ago.
