CoinMeta data: According to Galaxy Research, the U.S. government recently transferred 9,261 BTC to Coinbase Prime, worth approximately $770 million. Since this deposit address was activated in December 2025, it has received a total of 11,567 BTC. Of these, 6,406 came from known government wallets, and 5,160 came from previously unidentified wallets. Among the BTC transferred this time, 2,456 had no clear ownership designation before. The U.S. government currently holds about 319,086 BTC, of which 71% are Lubian-related BTC and 94,643 are funds that were recovered. Lubian-related assets involve 127,271 BTC. Since 2013, related U.S. government addresses have received a total of 555,260 BTC, worth approximately $16.1 billion, and have transferred out 236,173 BTC, worth about $380 million.
