According to a new report from VerityData, in the third quarter of 2026, the number of financial executives purchasing their own company's stocks dropped to 298, the lowest level since 2004. At the same time, internal purchases across the market also decreased by 18%. Analysts believe that the reduction in financial executives purchasing their own stocks may indicate concerns about the industry's prospects.
