According to CoinMeta, Francis Horgan, the whistleblower known as Facebook, stated that Zuckerberg's actions in the field of artificial intelligence ( AI) are like "playing with fire." In an interview, Horgan pointed out that although the AI industry is facing existential anxieties and many leaders are calling for a slowdown in development, she does not support halting AI development. She believes that the most effective risk mitigation measure is to require independent audits within the industry to ensure safe practices. Horgan also mentioned that Meta performs poorly in content moderation, having only handled 3% to 5% of hate speech in the past. She predicts that even very advanced AI models may only be able to catch 10% to 20% of harmful content.
