World Liberty Partner Sues BitGo Involving Locked Tokens
2026-10-09 18:00:20
According to CoinMeta, a partner of World Liberty has filed a lawsuit against BitGo due to a related company of DWF, claiming damages amounting to $141 million. The lawsuit alleges that BitGo may have violated the lock-up and ownership period agreements regarding the tokens issued by Falcon Finance and esports under DWF Labs. The plaintiffs claim that BitGo transferred the tokens to an exchange two months before the initial unlock date, resulting in a decline in the token value. Andrei Grachev, the founder of both DWF Labs and Falcon Finance, is jointly involved in this lawsuit. BitGo currently serves as the custodian of World Liberty's USD1 stablecoin, responsible for its issuance and destruction.
