Ledger: Over $86 million in crypto assets stolen, investigation underway

Researchers have traced wallet losses related to their hardware devices to over $86 million. The company has requested that distributor Cryptobilis suspend sales and deliveries until the investigation is completed. Blockchain investigators Specter have identified ten addresses suspected of theft. The dashboard of Arkham Intelligence shows that 98 addresses hold approximately $86.96 million in digital assets. Ledger has also issued specific guidance to customers who purchased devices through Cryptobilis in the past 90 days, recommending that those who have not yet completed the setup postpone initializing their devices.
