According to CoinMeta, Ostium has released a second-phase compensation plan for liquidity providers, offering two mechanisms for users who have suffered losses exceeding 1000 USDC and did not opt for the convenient compensation option. Plan A involves USDC installment payments, with funding coming from recovered funds, Ostium protocol and Gateway revenue sharing, as well as incentives for partners. Plan B is Ostium Labs equity conversion, allowing users who comply with securities regulations to convert their unpaid losses into Ostium Labs equity based on the valuation of the next round of financing. The second-phase portal will be launched on October 30th, and users can apply for the funds allocated under Plan A; those who choose Plan B will no longer be eligible for the installment payments under Plan A. Ostium states that this plan is voluntarily initiated by the officials, and there is no guarantee that all lost funds can be recovered.
