According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management ( MMA ) stated that currently, approximately 71.51% of the daily crude oil production and 58.84% of the daily natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico have been halted. In the U.S. Gulf region, 1.5 million barrels per day, which is 72% of the oil production, has ceased.
