According to CoinMeta, THORChain, co-founder of Chad Barraford, accused the stablecoin issuer Tether of freezing the USDT (Tether) wallets on that network without any explanation, with the amount frozen being approximately 1.45 million USDT. Barraford stated that Tether later unfroze these accounts, but he is not aware of the reasons behind this decision and expressed a desire to communicate with Tether. Previously, the cross-border payment platform Conduit Technology also sued Tether, accusing it of freezing USDT worth 2.76 million US dollars.
