Trump and Putin reach a diesel deal, Zelensky calls it a 'weak decision'

According to CoinMeta, weeks after signing sanctions against Russia, Trump reached a deal for diesel with Putin. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy strongly opposed this move, calling it 'weak.' Trump announced on social media that Russia would immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel, followed by another 500,000 tons in November, and then an additional 1 million tons thereafter. Zelenskyy warned that such 'gifts' to Putin would not bring peace or any benefit to the civilized world. Trump's actions raised doubts about whether the White House would impose sanctions on Russia this month. The U.S. Treasury Department subsequently stated that it would issue temporary permits to allow Russian diesel to enter the global market, marking a relaxation of the sanctions on diesel.
