Bank of America predicts that the Fed's October press conference may not have a Q&A session

According to CoinMeta, Bank of America predicts that Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh will continue the brief format from September at the press conference in October, which is expected to last about 30 minutes and may not include a Q&A session. The bank analysis states that if the Fed raises interest rates, Warsh will need to emphasize high inflation and a strong economy; if it remains inactive, then it will be necessary to guard against doubts about the Fed's credibility in the market. Bank of America maintains its judgment that the Fed will raise rates in December 2026 and March 2027, and points out that if inflation remains sticky beyond expectations in the first half of 2027, there is a possibility of further rate hikes.
