According to CoinMeta, the older trading platforms on, nexus, dotswap, and v1 were attacked. The attackers exploited a legacy server-side signing mechanism to transfer approximately 8.5 BTC from the liquidity pool and accounts of v1 within about 4 hours, worth around $685,000. The BTC deposited by liquidity providers was affected, but the self-managed wallets of trading users were not impacted. The platform has since closed v1 and is currently tracking the funds as well as contacting exchanges and on-chain analysis partners.
