According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the media, JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, and PNC are using the infrastructure provided by Coinbase. Coinbase Institutional, Co-CEO of Brett Tejpaul, stated that large American banks are becoming increasingly dependent on the infrastructure offered by Coinbase. Private banking customers of PNC can directly buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin through their platform. JPMorgan Chase is integrating Chase accounts, bank cards, and rewards with Coinbase, but will not offer Bitcoin trading within the bank app. Citibank, on the other hand, is collaborating with Coinbase for corporate clients.
