U.S. military rejects Iran's claims: Not withdrawn from the Strait of Hormuz, still maintaining vigilance in the area

According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Central Command reported that recently, the commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Navy claimed that U.S. forces had withdrawn from the Strait of Hormuz, retreating by several hundred “kilometers.” This claim is not true. The actions of the U.S. Central Command commander over the weekend indicate that U.S. troops deployed in the Middle East are still present in and on high alert in the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding waters. It is the U.S. military and its regional partners who jointly control this international waterway, not Iran.
