CoinMeta data: The $1.3 billion sale of Anthropic by FTX has once again drawn attention as its application for IPO approaches. On October 26, Anthropic announced that it had submitted a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), preparing to list on the NASDAQ Global Select Market with the stock code ANT. Although the number of shares to be issued and the price range have not yet been determined, The Wall Street Journal reported that the valuation of IPO could be between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion. Based on the previous 7.84% shareholding ratio of FTX, if calculated at the lowest valuation, the value of their holdings is approximately $117.6 billion. FTX's bankruptcy plan is expected to provide about 119% compensation for 98% of creditors, with a second creditor distribution scheduled for May 30, 2025, amounting to over $5 billion.
