German consumer confidence deteriorates slightly due to inflation concerns

According to CoinMeta, German consumer confidence has declined slightly due to concerns about inflation, and the rising energy costs caused by the Iran war continue to increase financial pressure on households. Data released on Wednesday by the Nuremberg Market Research Institute (NIM) and GfK (GfK) show that Germany's consumer confidence index in November GfK dropped from -30.6 in October to -30.8. The head of consumer sentiment research at Rolf Buerkl, NIM, stated that although consumers' optimism about economic development prospects is growing, a skeptical attitude still prevails regarding their personal financial situations. Increased concerns about inflation and weak income prospects are discouraging consumers from making major purchases.
