Google Launches a New Type of Bank Encryption Security System to Solve Private Key Theft Issues
2026-10-28 21:45:15
According to CoinMeta, Google has recently launched a new bank-level encryption security system aimed at addressing the issue of private key theft, which accounted for 43.8% of all encryption thefts in 2024. The system utilizes multi-party computation (MPC) services to distribute wallet keys across multiple systems and conducts checks before transaction approval, thereby reducing the risk of funds being exposed due to a single vulnerability. Alphabet Inc. has already been using this technology on Ethereum and Solana, and major financial institutions are also conducting tests. Google also plans to carry out post-quantum security upgrades in the future, with commercial deployment expected to begin in early 2027.
