According to CoinMeta, as the debt financing from artificial intelligence (AI) has accumulated to approximately $500 billion, bond giant Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) has reduced some of its largest positions. People familiar with the matter revealed that PIMCO sometimes starts to reduce its holdings just a few months after making purchases. Currently, the company has reduced its holdings in bonds related to Meta amounting to about $18 billion for 2025 and Oracle-related transactions worth $10 billion by approximately 50%. PIMCO carried out these reductions when the prices of the relevant bonds were high.
