CoinMeta Data: At its first digital assets seminar, Google showcased multi-party computing (MPC) encryption security services that allow banks to authorize the transfer of cryptocurrency and token assets without a single server or employee holding the complete private key. The product is currently in a private preview phase, with several major financial institutions already participating, and is expected to be commercially released at the beginning of 2027. Google has begun using this service to protect its digital assets on Ethereum and Solana, although the specific pricing has not yet been disclosed. Google Cloud's Director of Digital Assets Strategy, Rich Widmann, stated that this product is associated with regulated institutions that have started to place customer assets on blockchain. The service supports ECDSA and ED25519 signatures, providing a decentralized method of signature authorization that enhances security.
