Bitcoin Core Officially Releases v32.1 Version
2026-10-29 08:54:01
According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Bitcoin Core has officially released the v32.1 version. The official statement indicates that due to issues discovered in the final stages, although a version tag for v32.0 was created, it was never officially released. This update fixes a problem where the real IP addresses of users might be leaked during private broadcast transactions using Tor under certain configurations, and it also addresses several wallet and network security vulnerabilities. Additionally, the new version increases the default maximum number of automatic node connections from 125 to 200, and the disk usage for the reconstructed transaction index is reduced to less than half of the previous level.
