According to CoinMeta, the Chat and Work functions of ChatGPT are about to merge. Users have noticed a pop-up prompt that says “chat and work, all in one place”, indicating that there will be no need to switch between chat and work modes in the future. Users simply need to select medium or a higher level of reasoning intensity to ask questions, create slides, and even operate other applications within the same conversation. However, Tibo immediately clarified that the team does plan to integrate Chat and Work this year, but it has not been officially released yet, and the specific launch time is undetermined. Users are concerned whether the merger will consume the shared quota of Codex / Work during daily chats, and Tibo has not provided an answer to this concern for now.
