According to CoinMeta, the hacker attack on Binance could become the largest cyber theft in history. Based on estimates from Chainalysis, approximately $5.9 billion was stolen, while TRM Labs estimates that it exceeds $6 billion; the exact figure has not yet been confirmed by Binance. The previous record was a $1.5 billion theft from a Bybit exchange by hackers associated with North Korea in 2025.
