Adjust treasury strategy after the summer season
Remixpoint expanded its holdings of altcoins in June this year to cope with the financial pressure caused by the weakening of the Japanese yen. At that time, the company purchased XRP and included SOL and DOGE in its balance sheet. According to its internal estimates, revenue from cryptocurrency operations was once expected to reach 12.44 billion yen.
However, after re-evaluating market risks in the summer, management decided to adopt a 'selection and concentration' strategy, abandoning the more volatile altcoins, and completed all sales on September 1st.
Currently holding only about 1,506 Bitcoins.
The company disclosed that the realized profits will be used for its core energy business, including expanding the scale of industrial battery energy storage systems and strengthening its financial position.
As of now, Remixpoint's portfolio of crypto assets consists of only about 1,506 Bitcoins. The company states that Bitcoin can still generate relatively stable passive income through a lending program. Between February and August 2026, the company accumulated 14.92 Bitcoins in interest through this program, corresponding to an income of approximately 164.21 million Japanese yen.
Additional information:The report mentioned that Remixpoint previously held approximately 1.2 million XRP. This sale signifies that the company has completed its phased allocation of various altcoins.
