Japanese listed company Remixpoint recently disclosed that it completed the sale of all its holdings of ETH, XRP, SOL, and DOGE on September 1st. Following the transaction, Bitcoin became the only crypto asset retained by the company. The company stated that this move was based on market conditions, risk assessment, and financial strategy.
Only Bitcoin will be retained after sale.
A total of 878.81 million yen was recovered from this sale, resulting in a net profit of 117.77 million yen. Looking at the details, transactions ETH, SOL, and XRP all recorded profits, while DOGE incurred a slight loss.
- 901.45 ETH were sold for 353.43 million yen.
- 13,920.07 units of SOL were sold for 227.89 million yen.
- 1.19 million XRP were sold for 260.43 million yen.
The company also sold 2.8 million DOGE, recovering 37.08 million yen, with a loss of approximately 3.3 million yen. After completing this round of adjustments, Remixpoint no longer holds any of the aforementioned counterfeit coin assets.
Holding size of approximately 1,506 BTC
The company disclosed that it currently holds approximately 1,506 BTC. Bitcoin has become a core holding in its crypto asset strategy. According to the statement, this scale ranks it as the third-largest Japanese listed company in terms of the amount of Bitcoin it holds, behind only Metaplanet and Nexon.
In addition to spot positions, Remixpoint also generates income through Bitcoin lending. The company stated that from February 24 to August 31, 2026, its lending income amounted to 14.92 BTC, which is equivalent to approximately 164.22 million Japanese yen when converted according to the disclosed figures.
The proceeds from the sale will be invested in the energy business.
Regarding the use of the funds, the company disclosed that at this stage, there is no plan to immediately use the proceeds from this sale to further increase its holdings of Bitcoin. Approximately 878.81 million yen will be mainly invested in the energy business, with a portion of cash retained to strengthen the balance sheet.
Most of the funds will be used for purchasing and deploying large-scale power storage batteries. The company stated that it will continue to expand its energy infrastructure business in the future, while also maintaining the operation of its traditional businesses.
