Japanese listed company Remixpoint disclosed that it sold all of its Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Doge coins on September 1st. After the adjustment, its crypto portfolio now only includes Bitcoin. The company stated that this decision was made after taking into account the market environment, the risk-return characteristics of various assets, as well as its own financial strategy.

Selling amount and disposal proceeds

According to the company's disclosure, the total amount sold for this batch of assets was 878.8 million yen, with a book value of 761.0 million yen, and a profit of 117.8 million yen was realized after disposal. Remixpoint expects to include this profit in the revenue of the business segment for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.

  • ETH Realized approximately 60.2 million yen in profits
  • SOL Realized approximately 49.3 million yen in profits
  • XRP Realized approximately 11.52 million yen in profits

Dogecoin was the only losing position in this liquidation, with a loss of approximately 3.25 million yen. The company also disclosed that before selling, the Ethereum and Solana they held had generated a total return of about 29.87 million yen through staking.

The treasury is now required to hold only Bitcoin.

Remixpoint indicates that future policies regarding crypto assets will be centered around Bitcoin, with the aim of further clarifying the direction of treasury management and improving the efficiency of fund utilization. In addition to spot holdings, the company also disclosed that from February 24 to August 31, it earned 14.92055902 BTC in fees from Bitcoin lending services, which is valued at approximately 164.2 million yen according to the disclosed figures.

According to Bitcoin Treasuries, Remixpoint currently holds 1,501 BTC, which are valued at approximately $116.1 million based on the information provided in the text. This ranks them 38th on the list of global listed companies' Bitcoin holdings. The report also mentions that different statistical dates may lead to variations in the holding numbers.

Listed companies continue to increase their holdings of Bitcoin

Recently, the trend of listed companies increasing their holdings of Bitcoin continues, with some enterprises concentrating more funds on Bitcoin through financing or adjusting their reserve structures. The latest move by Remixpoint indicates that they have abandoned a multi-currency allocation and shifted to a single Bitcoin treasury.

  • Metaplanet Increased holdings by 5,075 in April BTC
  • Strive Bought a total of 2,910 units in two transactions in August BTC
  • Strategy Increased holdings by 4,603 at the end of August BTC

Additional information:The report mentions that there is a discrepancy between the current holdings of Remixpoint and the figures in some public databases, which is mainly due to different statistical dates, rather than the company disclosing two sets of figures.
