Nscale is a British AI infrastructure company that was established just two years ago. The company stated that it could potentially go public as early as later this month. Just before this timeline, market reports indicated that it was advancing a larger round of IPO pre-financing.

Financing Plan

Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that Nscale plans to sell $1.5 billion in convertible bonds to investors. Convertible bonds are a type of loan instrument that can be converted into company stock in the future. The company is also seeking $2 billion in financing from NVIDIA.

NVIDIA has participated multiple times.

NVIDIA previously participated in the Series B financing of Nscale in March this year. The scale of that financing round was $1.1 billion, led by Aker. Nscale at that time described it as "the largest Series B financing in European history."

AI Computing power demand continues to rise

Nscale recently also signed a large deal worth $45 billion with Anthropic. It was previously disclosed that the company had presented potential investors with revenue forecasts of around $103 billion. However, this figure is not the current sales amount, but rather an estimate based on the lease agreements already signed with customers.
