El Segundo, California, September 29th / PRNewswire / — AI Research Laboratory Voltropy announced today that it has developed the first cutting-edge AI model with 10 million token contexts. The company stated that this new model can process ten times the amount of data at once compared to their Anthropic and OpenAI flagship models.

"In the past three years, the context length of cutting-edge models has remained around one million token," said Clint Ehrlich, CEO and co-founder of Voltropy. " Vast-10M has broken through the one-million token barrier, while providing truly cutting-edge intelligence. Users can directly paste in the entire U.S. tax code, or the financial report conference records of each company in the S&P 500 index."

The technology behind Vast-10M is Voltropy Scalable Attention ( VSA ), which is a new algorithm that can be used to expand the context windows of existing Transformer. VSA provides 10 million token contexts across three model scales:

  • Vast-10M-Flash, based on DeepSeek V4 Flash;
  • Vast-10M-Medium, based on GLM 5.2;
  • Vast-10M-Pro, based on DeepSeek V4 Pro.

"Previously, techniques for extending model context would weaken the intelligence level," said Ted Blackman, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Voltropy. " VSA is quite the opposite. It actually makes the model smarter with a shorter context length. This improvement allows Vast-10M to compete with the world's best models even on tasks that could originally be accommodated within the model's context window."

In the industry standard BEAM benchmark tests, Vast-10M-Flash outperformed Anthropic's flagship model Fable by 5.1 on 1 million token positions, and was on par with OpenAI's GPT-6 and Astra. The context window of Vast-10M is 10 times larger than that of Fable and 9.5 times larger than that of Astra.

Voltropy indicates that the entire super-large context window of Vast-10M can be fully utilized. In the BEAM test, the recall capability of Vast-10M-Flash at 10 million token exceeded that of its basic DeepSeek model at 1 million token.

From today onwards, users can apply for an early access experience of Vast-10M at www.voltropy.com.
