SuperX launches AIIC 2.0 in Singapore, adding a new model-as-a-service feature

The upgraded AI Innovation Centre adds locally deployed model services. This center will be activated in April 2026.

Singapore, September 30, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- SuperX AI Technology Limited (Nasdaq ticker: SUPX, referred to as “SuperX” or “the Company”) today launched the upgraded version AIIC 2.0 of AI Innovation Centre (referred to as “AIIC”), which includes new Model as a Service (MaaS) capabilities (Model as a Service, referred to as “MaaS”). As announced by the Company on April 15, 2026, AIIC was jointly launched by STTGDC and SuperX and is located within the STT Singapore facilities in Tai Cheng (Tai Seng). With this upgrade, customers will be able to access pre-deployed models through API without the need to deploy and operate these models themselves.

The company stated that the purpose of establishing this center is to enable enterprises to move from the experimental phase to the production phase without having to build their own AI infrastructure. With the addition of model services, AIIC 2.0 further eliminates the next step that customers previously needed to complete on their own—deploying and operating the models—thus allowing them to focus on the workload itself, rather than on the underlying infrastructure.

AIIC 2.0: New service for locally deployed models

Through the upgrade to AIIC 2.0, this center is now able to provide model-as-a-service for institutions in Singapore and other regions of Southeast Asia, assisting customers in testing and validating AI workloads, and gradually moving from pilot deployments towards broader adoption.

  • Ready-to-use model services:Institutions can access pre-deployed models through API, without the need to deploy and operate the models themselves. This service currently supports GLM-5.3, which is an open-weight model hosted by SuperX in AI Innovation Centre in Singapore. The company stated that in the future, more open-weight models may be added after completing internal technical and compliance reviews.
  • Local Deployment and Support:For models hosted at AIIC, customer data and model inference will be retained within Singapore. Customer inputs and outputs will not be transmitted to model developers. Local deployment is also intended to provide lower network latency for users within the region and to enable access to local technical support.
  • Usage Management and Control:Institutions can monitor the usage of models and manage access rights, quotas, and costs among different departments and users.

The company stated that AIIC 2.0 combines the locally deployed model services with the existing AI experimental and deployment capabilities of this center, enabling customers to more flexibly evaluate, access, and expand AI models according to their own needs.

The use of the AIIC model service requires customer onboarding and screening procedures, and must comply with applicable export controls, sanctions, and acceptable usage requirements.

U.S. Congress targets the “secret agreements” of AI data centers: Amazon, Google, Meta, and Oracle are required to provide details
The Democratic chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Jamie Raskin, has sent letters to Amazon, Google, Meta, and Oracle, requesting disclosure of the confidentiality agreements they signed with government officials regarding their data center projects, as well as more detailed project information. The focus of the investigation is not on the AI model itself, but rather on how many project terms, energy requirements, resource consumption, and government support arrangements are kept out of the public eye by confidentiality agreements when large tech companies advance data center construction at the local level.
