IT Home News on October 1st: Gigabyte ( GIGABYTE ) announced yesterday the launch of 100 B850 desktop computers based on AI TOP. This workstation-level AI system supports 1 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 or 2 AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics cards.

It adopts a standard desktop architecture, based on the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor (paired with a 240mm AIO cooling system) and a AMD B850 motherboard. It comes standard with 128GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of SSD storage, and has 2 PCIe Gen5 slots.
It comes equipped with a built-in 1600W 80PLUS platinum power supply; there are two 140mm fans at the front, and another 140mm fan at the back, creating a strong airflow that enters from the front and exits from the back; the motherboard supports 16+2+2 phase power supply, providing 2 10GbERJ-45, Wi-Fi, and front-facing USB-C 20Gbps ports, among other expansion capabilities.

Gigabyte stated that with a single 5090 card configuration of AI TOP 100 B850, a token generation rate of 64.9 TPS can be achieved on the 32B model, while a dual-card configuration of R9700 supports inference for 235B models and fine-tuning for 110B models.
