In October 2026, the Solana ecosystem will welcome another round of large-scale token unlocks. In terms of value, $2Z, $TRUMP, $PUMP, $DBR, and $CARDS will be among the larger-scale projects to be released this month.
This month's schedule includes both ongoing linear assignments and several cliffhanger-style unlocks. The largest event is related to $2Z, while $TRUMP and $PUMP continue with their periodic distributions.
The following is the most noteworthy Solana ecosystem token unlocking situation for October:
$2Z
According to the token economy disclosure of DoubleZero, the initial one-year vesting cliff for $2Z tokens will expire on October 2nd, at which point the unlocking of 1.66 billion $2Z tokens will be triggered. Thereafter, the tokens will be gradually unlocked over a three-year linear vesting plan, continuing until October 2029.

On this release in October, DoubleZero is expanding its market data infrastructure. Since August, in addition to the Solana data it previously provided, the protocol has also been supplying Kalshi, Hyperliquid, and Phoenix data to trading companies.
$ TRUMP

$ TRUMP will unlock 28.02 million tokens through linear allocation, worth approximately 60.82 million US dollars. This release corresponds to 9.94% of the circulating supply and 2.8% of the total supply.
This distribution in October is still one of the largest ongoing supply events of the month in terms of dollar value.
$ PUMP
Pump.fun will release 7 billion $PUMP, worth approximately 40.25 million US dollars, through linear allocation. This unlocking represents 1.50% of the circulating supply and 0.84% of the total supply.
This distribution continues the ownership plan following the significant cliff-style unlocking in July. Pump.fun allocated 33% of its 1 trillion token supply to team members and existing investors, with a 12-month cliff period followed by a 36-month linear distribution. Now that the cliff period has ended, October marks the fourth month of these monthly increasing distributions.
$ DBR
deBridge will unlock 618.33 million $DBR on October 17, worth approximately 12.5 million US dollars. This release is equivalent to 10.42% of the circulating supply and 6.18% of the total supply.
Prior to this, deBridge reached a total historical trading volume of 24 billion US dollars in September.
Sanctum's $ SANC supply reduction
Sanctum plans to destroy 259 million $SANC on October 9th, reducing the total supply from 1 billion to 741 million, a decrease of about 25%.
In September, the protocol officially changed the token code from $ CLOUD to $ SANC, while maintaining the same token address and token economy. According to the October schedule, an additional 10.8 million tokens of $ SANC will be released linearly, with a value of approximately $778,000.
Matters of Note
The most prominent feature of the October schedule is the large-scale release of $2Z, with 17.8 billion tokens accounting for 34.78% of the circulating supply. $TRUMP and $PUMP follow closely behind, with planned releases valued at $60.82 million and $40.25 million respectively.
Meanwhile, $DBR entered this month after its total trading volume on deBridge reached $24 billion; DoubleZero is expanding its market data infrastructure, while Sanctum is preparing for a large-scale reduction in the supply of $SANC.
As always, token unlocking does not automatically determine price performance; it is merely a part of the broader market landscape. However, tracking the scale of each release, its impact on the circulating supply, and the developments surrounding each project still helps investors better understand the dynamic changes in supply within the Solana ecosystem.
