Hyland joins the Jack Henry Fintech Integration Network to bridge the gap between core banking systems and compliance content management

FIN enables Hyland to integrate with the core platforms of Jack Henry's SilverLake ® and Symitar ® Episys ®

Cleveland, October 5, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Global provider of enterprise-level content intelligence and automation solutions, Hyland, announced today that the company has joined Jack Henry Fintech Integration Network ( FIN ). By participating in this project, Hyland will gain access to the technical resources of Jack Henry to support its existing integrations with SilverLake and Symitar Episys. Fintech Integration Network is aimed at helping Jack Henry customers to adopt third-party products more smoothly.

Hyland indicates that OnBase is one of the most trusted content management platforms in the financial services industry. It can be integrated with the platform of Jack Henry to connect core bank data with corresponding business scenarios, thereby supporting daily operations. With the help of jXchange ™, which is designed for SilverLake, and symXchange ™, which is designed for Symitar Episys, two service-based application programming interfaces that allow third-party fintech companies and financial institutions to securely access core data and business rules, participating institutions can safely connect core information with OnBase. They can directly retrieve relevant documents within work processes and utilize content and process automation to enhance employee productivity and the service experience. These integrations manage access and control all interactions through a service layer, ensuring consistent and secure data exchange between platforms and safeguarding data integrity.

"Our customers don't want to manage another set of systems; they hope that the existing systems can work together more effectively, and that's exactly what we've achieved through integration with OnBase from Jack Henry," said Namit Saksena, Vice President of Financial Services Products at Hyland. "Joining Fintech Integration Network has enhanced our ability to support this goal and ensures that our common customers can continue to connect core data, content, and work processes in a seamless user experience."

Financial institutions are under pressure to modernize their operations without affecting the core systems that employees rely on daily. Many organizations manage content across isolated systems, which forces employees to switch between different applications, perform repetitive tasks, and search for documents manually. The announcement states that these gaps can slow down service speeds, increase operational burdens, limit a comprehensive view of customer or member data, and create governance vulnerabilities when content is outside of the compliance and audit mechanisms that the organizations depend on.

Hyland indicates that its verified Jack Henry integration can help common customers bridge this gap by connecting core banking services with those that support lending, member and customer services, business operations, and compliance. At the same time, it will not create new silos of content. OnBase is not about establishing an independent repository, but rather serving as a secure content hub that connects information between various systems and embeds documents and work processes into core banking scenarios, enabling employees to work more efficiently while continuing to use the Jack Henry applications they are familiar with.

Jack Henry indicates that through FIN, customers no longer need to act as intermediaries, as fintech companies can directly access the technical resources and testing systems of Jack Henry. Being included in FIN does not constitute a recommendation for the products of that fintech company.
