On Tuesday, the stock prices of NVIDIA, Mellon Technology, and AMD all rose, with investors continuing to flock to semiconductor stocks related to the prosperity of AI's infrastructure.
NVIDIA continued its record-breaking upward trend after closing at $239.11 on Monday, with the company's valuation at approximately $5.77 trillion, less than 5% away from a market value of $6 trillion. The latest record high further solidifies NVIDIA's core position in the current AI trading.
However, the upward trend on Tuesday was not limited to NVIDIA. Marvell's stock price rose by about 6%, and AMD also saw a corresponding increase, as investors reacted to improved growth expectations in areas such as custom AI chips, CPU, GPU, and data center networking.

Outside of NVIDIA, Mellanox has become one of the targets that are more aggressively betting on the expansion of AI infrastructure.
The company recently raised its revenue forecasts for the fiscal years 2027 and 2028, stating that orders related to AI remain "exceptionally strong." Revenue in the second quarter reached a record $2.74 billion, a year-on-year increase of 37%; among this, data center revenue grew by 46%.
Management expects that driven by stronger connectivity demands and a significant acceleration in the custom chip business, revenue for the fiscal year 2027 is expected to be around $12 billion, and for the fiscal year 2028, it is anticipated to reach around $18 billion.
This growth story has already received significant endorsement. In June, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that Mellanox could become a company with a market value of one trillion dollars in the future, and this statement helped drive the MRVL stock price to rise by 32% in a single day.
AMD is preparing for the needs of more AI.
AMD is also preparing for a larger market.
CEO Su Zifeng stated on Tuesday that the company plans to significantly increase chip supply in 2027, following its continuous expansion of production capacity throughout 2026. She is meeting with major manufacturing and memory suppliers in Taiwan, China, and South Korea to ensure access to sufficient wafer and memory capacity to meet expected demand.
AMD surpassed a valuation of $1 trillion in September, indicating that the upward trend of AI chips is expanding beyond NVIDIA to a broader range.
Today, several different types of winners have emerged in the AI chip market: NVIDIA dominates the accelerator market, AMD is expanding the supply of GPU and CPU, while Mellanox is enhancing its position through custom chips and networking services.
