Singapore, October 7th ( PRNewswire ) – Babylon Labs and HashKey Cloud announced today that HashKey Cloud will integrate Trustless Bitcoin Vaults ( TBV ) to provide lending and yield services supported by native Bitcoin.

TBV enables Bitcoin holders to use Aave v4, leveraging native Bitcoin as collateral for loans without the need for packaging, cross-chain operations, or centralized intermediaries. This connects the Bitcoin ecosystem with the lending liquidity of Ethereum, allowing holders to access stablecoins and other supported assets.

For HashKey, this integration provides a way to generate revenue from native Bitcoin on an institutional scale. HashKey customers will be able to use their native Bitcoin as collateral to borrow funds and deploy the borrowed stablecoins into revenue-generating strategies.

This integration is built upon the existing role of HashKey Cloud within the Babylon ecosystem.

Babylon, co-founder Fisher Yu, stated: "Asian institutions hope to leverage Bitcoin through counterparties that have regulatory qualifications and operational track records, and HashKey Group possesses both. With this integration, HashKey Cloud will play a core operational role in TBV, providing native Bitcoin credit for its institutional clients and helping to promote the adoption of Babylon in Asia. Our trustless, self-managed design allows regulated institutions to use native Bitcoin as collateral while retaining ownership."

HashKey OnChain CEO Leo Li stated: "This is not just a technical integration; it is an important step in integrating Bitcoin into the institutional financial system. We are delighted to collaborate with Babylon to transform native Bitcoin into a lendable and deployable productive asset, unlocking new revenue opportunities for institutional clients."

Both parties stated that more details regarding the integration timeline and cooperative relationship will be announced in the coming months.
