News from the IT community on October 8th: At a press conference held in San Francisco, USA, on October 7th at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (October 8th at 1 a.m. Beijing Time), Jensen Huang stated that NVIDIA is promoting a AI computing model centered around local devices.
Jensen Huang said, "This is the only computer in the world that can natively run all applications on the device side." He also stated that almost all laptop, desktop, and workstation manufacturers have joined NVIDIA's cooperative camp.

Jensen Huang also took this opportunity to emphasize the hardware ecosystem that NVIDIA is building: from lightweight AI PC, to workstations for developers and professional users, to high-performance devices such as DGX Station, NVIDIA hopes that different types of Windows devices will all have local AI capabilities.

Jensen Huang said, “This superchip [referring to the RTX Spark superchip platform] is truly outstanding. It is the only computer that can run DirectX and all its applications, OpenGL …… and it is also capable of running all CUDA applications perfectly.”
In terms of software, NVIDIA has tested the performance and compatibility of over 1,200 applications on RTX Spark. “The number of software products we are about to launch... is endless,” said Jensen Huang.
Jensen Huang stated that RTX Spark PC “will become a tool for people, but it will also become our personal assistant; we can also use it to work.”
