Singapore, October 10, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- ONLYOFFICE has released its major update 10.0 for the fall of 2026, which includes a AI tool that is directly integrated into the editor, new modular applications, as well as significant security upgrades. This update brings about 50 new features and over 1,000 fixes to the online, desktop, and mobile editors.

AI for understandable document content, suitable for any editor

ONLYOFFICE 10.0 integrates the context AI into documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDF editors. A dedicated AI tab page comes with a built-in chat function, allowing teams to complete writing, summarizing, translating, cleaning, and formatting without leaving the file or copying content to separate tools.

The company stated that AI can simplify daily work: the legal team can summarize contracts, analysts can perform predictions or create pivot tables, and managers can transform their ideas into structured presentations.

Preset prompts, custom AI operations, assistants, and saved prompts can help teams streamline work processes and automate daily tasks.

ONLYOFFICE indicates that organizations can decide for themselves how to use AI and select models based on quality, speed, and cost. Cloud users can enable ONLYOFFICE AI through OpenRouter; for server deployment, any model can be connected to, including local models. Sensitive data can be retained within local infrastructure.

New modular applications

This version introduces four free applications to complement ONLYOFFICE Docs (which utilizes AGPL and v3 licenses). Among them, AI Agents automates workspaces through intelligent search, personalized knowledge bases, and advanced reasoning, with related functions supported by the MCP server. Forms is used to simplify data collection and analyze responses. Files manages document storage centrally and provides access control. Rooms is designed to facilitate secure collaboration, including virtual data rooms for confidential content.

In the cloud version, these applications are enabled by default; in the server version, they can be installed with just one command.

Editor Improvements

PDF The editor now supports deleting metadata, customizing comments, automatically identifying tables, and using reusable signatures.

In the document editor, collaborators can view each other's cursors in real-time; a new feature called "Maintain Consistency with the Following Paragraph" has been added to keep related content together; support for writing from right to left (RTL) has also become more reliable.

Spreadsheets run faster thanks to function optimization, formula suggestions, and the ability to select areas for animations.

The presentation has added new display modes and extended printing settings, and now supports exporting slides as GIF or videos.

Users can still currently process .ofd files, save spreadsheets in .xls format, convert .SVG files into editable graphics, and add data tables to charts. The restructured plugin manager also includes new plugins such as .Antidote, .Curly, and the newly added .Salesforce.

Security

ONLYOFFICE indicates that version 10.0 has fixed 35 vulnerabilities, thereby enhancing the protection capabilities of organizations that handle sensitive data against the evolving threats associated with AI.

Desktop and Mobile Editors

The desktop editor brings a redesigned homepage, revised templates and a cloud services section, integration with Odoo, as well as visual improvements under Linux. In the Desktop Community version, the AI tool is provided as an optional additional component.

Free applications applicable to iOS and Android have integrated the AI assistant, with the addition of services such as Grok and DeepSeek. They also include AI automatic form filling and voice input features to support users in working anytime, anywhere.

Nomura warns that U.S. stock indices are severely distorted; ten stocks contribute 70% of the S&P's gains
Nomura Cross-Asset Strategist Charlie McElligott warns that the S&P 500 has been virtually stagnant for nearly two months, but most of its constituent stocks have entered a technical adjustment phase. The calmness of the index is mainly due to an extremely concentrated market structure. The report states that ten stocks have contributed 70% of the S&P 500's 23% increase since March 30th. At the same time, shortages of diesel in Europe, interest rate fluctuations, and OpenAI revenue expectations falling short could all impact the current market logic.
