News from the IT Home on October 12: The 26th China International Industry Fair was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from October 12 to 16, 2026.
According to Yicai, during the in-depth dialogue session at the opening ceremony, Wang Xingxing, the founder of Yushu Technology, shared that the release of GPT-6 some time ago had a significant impact on the understanding of the embodied intelligence industry. The company's team also deployed it in robots for testing, and the results were quite good. In his view, the critical point for the embodied intelligence industry is likely to arrive relatively soon; in fact, it could happen within one or two years.
Wang Xingxing stated that in order to achieve large-scale application of robots, issues related to generalization and efficiency still need to be addressed, but these problems will be solved in the coming years.
Wang Xingxing also mentioned, 'Now my personal belief in AI is actually growing day by day. The biggest mistake I made over the past decade or so was not trusting AI enough. Up to now, perhaps many people have not fully utilized or embraced AI yet.'
IT noticed that in September of this year, Wang Xingxing stated that when robots can complete 80% of tasks in 80% of unfamiliar scenarios through voice embodiment capabilities, it will signify that the industry has reached a critical point of explosion. By then, global enterprises and resources from various countries will converge on this field, and this turning point for the industry is expected to be realized in the coming years.
