Disney has raised the prices of some of its theme park services in the United States. Some visitors to Walt Disney World will face record ticket prices, and visitors to Disney Land will also see increased expenses for certain ticket categories and additional services.
These adjustments will take effect in October 2026 and affect park entrance fees, annual passes, and Lightning Lane services. However, Disney has decided to keep a number of lower-priced options unchanged.
How much has the price of Disney World tickets increased?
The largest increase was seen at Walt Disney World in Florida. By Christmas 2027 and New Year's Eve, during peak periods, the highest one-day ticket price for a single park in this magical kingdom will rise to $229.
This is an increase of $10 from the previous highest price of $219, setting a new record for the standard single-park ticket price at Disney World as well.
Annual passes are also seeing price increases. The highest-level Incredi-Pass has risen by $120 to $1,749; Sorcerer Pass has gone up to $1,139, Pirate Pass to $909, and Pixie Dust Pass to $499.

Disney prices have risen.
Disney's high-end Lightning Lane Premier Pass is also a major expense, with the highest price in Disney World rising from $449 to $499 per person.
Therefore, if a family of four purchases four one-day tickets for $229 each, they would spend $916 just on entrance fees, not to mention taxes, dining, lodging, parking, or optional services.
Has Disneyland also raised its prices?
Disneyland resort areas in California have also raised prices, but to a smaller extent. Four of their seven one-day ticket tiers have seen an increase of $5 each. The 1st tier ticket now costs $134, the 2nd tier $154, the 3rd tier $174, and the 4th tier $189.
Disney has maintained the lowest ticket price at $104 and the highest at $224 unchanged.
The Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Disney Land is now available for pre-purchase at $35, which is higher than the previous price of $34; the starting price for on-the-day purchases has risen from $37 to $38. Park Hopper Additional options have also been increased in price. Magic Key Annual passes and standard parking fees remain unchanged.

Why is Disney raising prices?
Disney is simultaneously making significant investments in its theme parks, with new areas and amusement facilities planned for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in China. However, for visitors, these latest changes mean that the timing of their Disney vacations could result in significant differences in the final cost.
