IT News on October 12th: According to reports from foreign media TweakTown, recently, developer Luckey Faraday used the "atmospheric programming" ( Vibe Coding ) created by AI to develop two web games based on "Call of Duty." These games have been taken down due to copyright complaints Activision DMCA. The related games are now inaccessible.

IT has learned that the projects involved this time include " Claude of Duty : Vibe Slops II " and " Kino der Toten ". The former is a web game based on the multiplayer mode of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2", where players can engage in free combat with 6 robots controlled by AI on two maps, Hijacked and Nuketown 2025; the latter reproduces the classic zombie maps from the "Black Ops" series, Kino der Toten, and supports single-player gameplay.

Both of these projects are developed using the AI intelligent entity and the Three.js framework. Although Luckey Faraday clearly states on its corresponding pages that "the project has no association with Activision, Treyarch, Microsoft, or Anthropic," in reality, both of these online games utilize original Call of Duty maps, models, and animation resources. As a result, there are significant copyright issues, and it is not surprising that they were taken down upon Activision's complaint.

As the AI programming tools lower the barriers to game reverse engineering and web page porting, more classic games may appear in browsers in non-official forms. However, whether such projects can sustain over the long term depends not only on technical implementation but also on the copyright ownership and licensing of the original game materials.
