IT News on October 12th: According to reports from foreign media UploadVR, photos of the actual appearance of the new mixed-reality headset, which will be launched under ByteDance's P-token issuance, have appeared in certification documents from Japanese regulatory authorities. These images showcase the device's actual appearance and some of its internal structures for the first time. The device features an external computing module design, and its overall shape is basically consistent with the renderings of the previously leaked development kits. It is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

The Japanese regulatory document exposed this time has the number 202- JWM032, and the device model is B3110, which is consistent with the model in the previous certification documents from the US Federal Communications Commission ( FCC ). The relevant images show the back strap, mask, and forehead support structure of the headset, which basically match the renderings from SDK before. However, this physical specimen adopts a different color scheme and surface treatment method, giving it an overall appearance that is closer to the Vision headset announced by vivo in 2025.

In addition, the corresponding certification documents also include images of the device disassembled, showing the camera and sensor array on the front of the headset, the optical module, as well as the cooling fan located in the center of the body, providing more clues for the outside world to understand its internal structure.
Currently, the final release date for the P-token issuance Space Pro has not been announced, with the tentative plan still set for the fourth quarter of 2026. It is worth noting that the short-term confidentiality period for the US FCC certification documents will expire on February 28, 2027, and by then, more product information may be made public.
As previously reported by IT, the launch of the P-token Space Pro headset was originally scheduled for September 2 at 14:30, but it was ultimately postponed until the fourth quarter of this year. This headset is equipped with a micro-OLED panel with a pixel density of 4000 PPI. It also adopts a dual-chip architecture, which includes a custom-designed coprocessor dedicated to computer vision and image processing, as well as a new main processor. The performance of this main processor in terms of CPU and GPU will be twice that of the current Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 (currently used in the P-token Ultra and Meta Quest 3 models).
