Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, October 13th / PRNewswire / —— Today, it was announced that its five eligible health plans — Longevity Health, of, Illinois, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, and North Carolina — have all received the 2027 Overall Five-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), which is the highest rating awarded by CMS.
Among the 508 Medicare Advantage programs that have received ratings nationwide, only 15, which is 2.95%, have received an overall five-star rating. Longevity Health accounts for 5 of these programs, which is approximately one-third of the total number of five-star health programs in the United States. Longevity Health also includes 3 of the only 6 programs in the country that have received a five-star rating for two consecutive years.
These results have made Longevity one of the very few institutions to receive a five-star rating in 100% of the eligible programs, highlighting its consistent quality performance across multiple states.
Longevity Health CEO Ben Lerer stated: "Achieving five-star performance in every eligible program for the second consecutive year indicates that excellence in Longevity is not a one-time occurrence, but rather a standard that our team and partners work together to maintain."
"This recognition reflects the commitment of our employees, the strength of our professional clinical model, and our joint efforts with long-term care and medical service providers to improve the care and quality of life for the people we serve."
CMS releases annual star ratings to help Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers evaluate health and prescription drug programs. The ratings consider clinical outcomes, member experience, accessibility to healthcare, medication safety, and customer service, among other aspects. Medicare Advantage contracts can be evaluated based on up to 43 quality and performance indicators.
Longevity Health Vice President of Clinical Quality Cara Broich stated: "To achieve this level of performance in all of our eligible programs, it requires a high degree of focus and consistency. Our clinical team, health plan team, and partners work together to coordinate care, identify needs as early as possible, and provide support at the most critical moments of members' medical journeys. These ratings recognize the collective efforts of everyone involved."
Longevity Health indicates that its specially designed care model combines professional clinical expertise, proactive care coordination, actionable data, and close collaboration to improve outcomes for populations with complex needs. The company has consistently achieved top results across its entire product portfolio, demonstrating its ability to maintain high-quality, consistent care even as it continues to expand.
Lerer added, "This is not just a quality milestone."
"It demonstrates that a highly specialized and collaborative approach can deliver exceptional performance on a sustainable and scalable basis."
