IT News on October 14th: Apple has today pushed the visionOS Developer Preview Version 27.2 Beta 4 update (internal version number: 24N5114a) to Vision Pro users. This update comes 7 days after the last release on Beta / RC.

It should be noted that due to caching issues with Apple's regional node server configurations, there may be a slight delay in detecting the upgrade and update times in some areas. However, this delay is generally not expected to exceed half an hour.

This update mainly fixes issues found in the previous beta versions and enhances system stability, representing a routine iteration before the official release. As of now, neither Apple nor the media have listed any significant new interface or functional changes in Beta.

visionOS 27.2 SDK For developers to build and test applications for this beta version of Apple Vision Pro. Developers should also use Xcode 27.2 Beta, which contains the SDK suitable for visionOS 27.2, in order to verify the compatibility of the applications on the new system.

The key capabilities brought by visionOS 27 itself include enhanced object tracking, high-frame-rate posture updates, Apple Immersive Video production and real-time preview enhancements, as well as support for aspect ratio portals.
