New York, October 15, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Bluerock High Income Institutional Credit Fund (hereinafter referred to as the "Fund" or "High Income Fund", codes: IIMAX, IIMCX, IIMWX) announced today its 17th consecutive quarterly regular distribution, with a distribution rate of 8.1% based on current annualization.Mandatory requirements:Shareholders who have held fund shares throughout the quarter will receive a total distribution of approximately $0.45 per share. Since its establishment on June 21, 2022, the fund has paid a total of approximately $10.67 per share in distributions.

The fund continues to strategically diversify its portfolio and maintains a higher allocation to debt positions within the capital structure of CLO. We are also paying attention to an evolving theme in the credit market, which investors have begun to refer to as “HALO” (high assets, low elimination rate). This theme favors credit in the real estate sector, which is tangible, has a long existence, and possesses greater resilience in market cycles, as well as being less susceptible to technological disruption. We believe this is becoming an increasingly attractive area in the credit market, and the fund's investment mandate enables it to evaluate such opportunities while meeting its revenue targets.

As of now, the fund holds 104 guaranteed loan certificates (CLO), corresponding to a total value of approximately $48.7 billion in underlying loans, covering over 1,350 priority guaranteed loans across various industries (the underlying holdings as of September 30, 2026, and may change at any time; this should not be considered investment advice). As of September 30, 2026, the net asset management scale of High Income Fund was approximately $168 million.

High Income Fund I Class Share Net Performance

The returns listed are the total net returns. When expressed as a percentage, the total return is calculated by adding up the price changes during the period, any income from reinvestment, and capital gains distributions, and then dividing by the starting price. Returns over a period of more than one year are calculated on an annualized basis.

The performance data cited here represents historical performance. Current performance may be higher or lower than the aforementioned performance data. Investment returns and the value of principal can fluctuate, therefore the value of shares upon redemption may be higher or lower than their original cost. For performance information, please call the toll-free number 1-844-819-8287. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

As of February 1, 2026, before deducting all fee reductions or reimbursements, the total annual fund operating expense ratios for Class A shares, Class C shares, and Class I shares were 3.81%, 4.61%, and 3.66%, respectively. The fund investment advisor has signed a contract agreeing to reduce their fees and/or bear part of the fund expenses until at least January 31, 2027, to ensure that the net annual fund operating expenses do not exceed 2.10% for Class A shares, 2.85% for Class C shares, and 1.85% for Class I shares. However, these expenses may be recouped from the fund in future years. In addition to the contractual obligations under the fee limitation agreement, the advisor voluntarily assumed all of the fund's operating expenses from the inception of the fund until December 31, 2024, and waived all management fees. The advisor has also continued to voluntarily waive their incentive fees since then. The operating expenses and management fees voluntarily paid or waived during this period will not be recouped by the fund in future years. Without the advisor's fee waivers and related expenditures, the fund expenses would be higher, and the fund returns would be lower.

Mandatory requirements: It refers to the distribution rate for the third quarter of 2026, calculated on an annualized basis, and divided by NAV as of September 30, 2026. The fund's distribution policy is to distribute to shareholders quarterly. The quarterly distribution level is not fixed and will vary depending on the performance of the fund's underlying holdings. This distribution policy may be adjusted. The tax nature of the fund's distributions depends on various factors, including the tax nature of the distributions received by the fund from its underlying investments, which the fund is not aware of at the time of distribution. Based on the U.S. GAAP, the fund estimates that none of its most recent distributions constituted capital gains; however, the classification of the fund's distributions for federal income tax purposes differs from that under the U.S. GAAP. The ultimate source and tax attributes of all distributions will be determined after the end of the year, after receiving tax information related to the fund's underlying investments. Shareholders should note that any capital gains will reduce their tax base and may increase taxable income upon disposal of shares (if any). There is no guarantee that the fund will continue to announce distributions, or that these distributions will remain at the current level.

2 The fund was established on June 21, 2022.

Past performance does not represent future results. Please note that the performance data for each index listed in this article is for reference only. You cannot directly invest in indices. The performance of an index does not represent the performance of actual funds or investment portfolios. The performance of a fund or investment portfolio may differ significantly from that of an index holding the same securities. Index performance assumes dividend reinvestment, but it does not take into account any management fees, transaction costs, or other expenses that may be incurred by the fund or investment portfolio, nor does it reflect the brokerage commissions associated with trading fund shares. These fees, expenses, and commissions are likely to reduce returns.

This fund is a closed-end interval fund, and its shares have no history of public trading. There is currently no intention to list it on a public exchange either. It is not expected that a secondary market for the fund shares will develop. The fund provides limited liquidity to shareholders through quarterly repurchase offers of no less than 5% of the issued shares at the net asset value. Shareholders cannot be guaranteed to sell all of their shares they wish to at these quarterly repurchase offers. The fund typically finances its quarterly share repurchases with available cash or by selling securities from its portfolio. Selling securities for repurchase purposes may depress the market price of those securities, thereby reducing the fund's net asset value. This fund is only suitable for investors who can afford the risk associated with its limited liquidity and should be considered a long-term investment.

Fund investors should understand that the net asset value of a fund ( NAV ) can fluctuate, which means that the value of your shares held at any given point in time may be lower than the initial investment value, even after taking into account dividends and reinvested distributions. Holding fund shares represents an indirect investment in the securities held by the fund. The value of these securities, like that of other market investments, can rise or fall, and sometimes can change rapidly and unpredictably. According to the Investment Company Act of 1940, this fund is considered a “non-diversified” fund, which means that more than 5% of its total assets can be invested in the securities of one or more issuers. Therefore, changes in the financial condition or market value of a single issuer can lead to greater fluctuations in the fund’s net asset value compared to “diversified” funds. A fund is not a complete investment strategy.

Since the fund primarily invests in debt-based instruments and securities, the value of your investment may fluctuate with changes in interest rates. The fund may invest in senior secured debt and CLO. A significant increase in interest rates could lead to an increase in loan defaults, and the value of the fund's assets may also be affected by other uncertainties, such as economic developments that impact the senior secured fixed-rate loan market or uncertainties regarding the overall condition of borrowers. The risk that borrowers of senior secured loans fail to pay interest and/or principal on time could result in losses for the fund or a reduction in cash flow, which in turn may lead to a decrease in the fund's NAV or distributions. CLO also carries additional risks, including but not limited to: (i) the fund's investment in CLO may be subordinate to other categories or tranches; and (ii) the investment structure of CLO is complex and may not have been fully understood at the time of investment, which could lead to disputes with issuers, holders of senior tranches, or other parties, or result in other unexpected investment outcomes. Furthermore, the nature of the fund's investment strategy exposes it to various risks, including credit risk (debtors may default), liquidity risk (investments may not be able to be sold at favorable times or prices), and prepayment risk (debtors may repay their obligations ahead of time, thereby reducing interest payments). All potential investors should read the "Risk Factors" section of the prospectus to obtain more information related to investing in this fund.
