Atlanta, October 20, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Robot security company Undaunted, headquartered in Atlanta, announced today that more than 100 security robots have been put into use on the front lines. The company provides security services for apartment communities and other commercial properties. Undaunted stated that although it is currently operating only in the Atlanta metropolitan area, its fleet has become the largest deployed robot security fleet in the United States. The company is now preparing to launch operations in Houston and Dallas.
Undaunted indicates that most robotics companies are unable to move beyond the pilot phase: a small number of devices are deployed, triggering a wave of media coverage, only to be quietly withdrawn afterward. However, deploying 100 robots at the sites of paying customers every night means that robotic security is no longer just an experiment, but has become an infrastructure that property owners will include in their budget planning.
The founder and CEO, Bryan Dinner, stated: " Undaunted provides robots that are manually controlled, with costs only half of those of traditional security personnel. By having trained security staff operate behind the screens, we are able to help protect many of the most dangerous properties in Atlanta and carry out our work in a way that is safer for everyone. We are committed to preventing crimes before they occur through proactive deterrence, while also retaining human intervention at times when judgment is necessary."
Why is a scale of 100 robots significant?
Undaunted indicates that the effects at this scale are already reflected in police records and property balance sheets.
The company stated that crucial evidence from one of its robots helped the DeKalb police arrest a murder suspect.
In a community in Atlanta, police records show that since Undaunted was launched 18 months ago, burglaries have dropped to zero, motor vehicle theft has decreased by 84%, and gun-related incidents have decreased by 64%; at the same time, homeowners can save $75,000 per year on security expenses.
In a suburban community of Gwinnett County, within 8 months since its deployment, overall crime has decreased by 72%, and no violent incidents have been recorded.
Undaunted indicates that it is these results that drive the continuous expansion of their fleet. Owners usually start by collaborating with one property and then extend their services to the next; operating 100 robots in the same city also enables the company to establish an operational, training, and support model that can be scaled for nationwide expansion.
The Shmuel Wolf of Balfour Residential indicates: "A year ago, our collaboration with Undaunted was limited to just one property, operating for 8 hours a day; now it has expanded to 24/7 operation throughout the day and night, covering 8 properties, and we will continue to add more in the future. It is indeed effective, and our residents really enjoy it."
Next stop: Texas
Undaunted indicates that after completing the verification in Atlanta, the company is bringing the same model to Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth. These two regions are among the largest apartment markets in the United States. The company stated that they are currently meeting with the owners and operators of these two cities.
