The "Stop Judgment Day" campaign reminds the world that the future is not predetermined, while also promoting security measures aimed at keeping AI within established boundaries.

Orlando, Florida, USA, October 22nd / PRNewswire / -- Global leaders in the AI security industry ThreatLocker ™ today announced the launch of a global advertising campaign that utilizes the iconic film "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" to convey a powerful message: It is not inevitable that humanity will lose control.

As warnings about the potential consequences of advanced AI have shifted from science fiction fears to mainstream public discussion, this initiative has emerged as a response. There is growing concern that AI could "kill all of us by the end of this decade." A recent poll by Quinnipiac University shows that 73% of Americans are worried that future AI systems could threaten human survival.

ThreatLocker conveys different messages to the public. As the classic line from "Terminator 2" says, "The future is not written in stone; there is no other destiny but the one we create for ourselves." Enterprises do not have to choose between embracing AI and giving up control. Security tools can set boundaries for what AI is allowed to access and execute, and these boundaries can be enforced independently of AI itself.

ThreatLocker, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Danny Jenkins stated: "Terminator 2 presented one of the most unforgettable scenes to the world of what could happen when machines get out of human control. Today, people hear frightening warnings about where AI might go, but that is not a future we have to accept. We can allow AI to play its role while setting boundaries for what it is allowed to do and enforcing them. We want people to know that solutions do exist, and they can adopt AI without giving up control."

This campaign will initiate outdoor advertising in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, including on billboards, at airports, on public transportation, and in other high-visibility locations. The digital platform of ThreatLocker will also feature this campaign, and more creative content and commercials will be launched in the coming months.

This event follows closely on the heels of ThreatLocker's launch of Zero Trust AI Control ( ZTAIC ) this week. This product applies the zero-trust principle to proxy-based AI. ZTAIC allows enterprises to define which content proxy servers can access, initiate, connect to, and modify, and manages this by implementing controls outside of AI, while continuously maintaining these controls when the proxies call other applications and processes.
